Privacy Policy
Last updated July 1, 2026
Olomir ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account information — the email address and sign-in identifier you use to log in (e.g. via Apple or Google).
- Content you create — notes, to-dos, chat messages, journal entries, goals, habits, images, and personal notes you record in the app. This may include sensitive personal information you choose to record (such as moods, reflections, or health-related notes); we treat it as private to your account.
- Preferences — timezone, language, day-start time, AI model preference, and the personal description you provide.
- Usage data — token usage counts for AI features.
- Approximate location (optional) — only if you grant permission, your device's coarse (city-level) coordinates are used to add a local weather note to your daily briefing. The app works fully without it, and you can revoke it anytime in system settings.
How we use it
- To provide the core features of Olomir, including the AI assistant that organizes and summarizes what you record.
- To personalize responses, authenticate you, manage usage limits, and keep the service stable and secure.
We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not use your content to train AI models.
AI processing
Olomir is an AI assistant, so to power its features your chat messages, journal content, and uploaded images are sent to third-party AI providers that process them solely to generate responses, classify your entries, and support assistant features. These providers are Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, and Perplexity. We use them only to deliver the app's features — never for advertising. We recommend reviewing each provider's privacy policy for how data may be processed on their side.
Other third-party services
- Cloud infrastructure — your data is stored and processed using a trusted third-party cloud infrastructure provider that acts on our behalf and is bound to protect it.
- Open-Meteo — if you grant location permission, your coarse coordinates are sent to Open-Meteo to fetch the local forecast, with no account or identifier attached.
Data security
- Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest.
- Your records are isolated per account at the server level — neither other users nor the AI assistant can access another account's data.
- API keys and sensitive credentials are never stored on your device.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data retention
Your content is retained while your account is active. You can delete entries at any time, and deleting your account permanently removes your associated data from our systems.
Your rights
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data. You can delete your account in-app at any time; for other requests, contact us.
Children
Olomir is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
